Distance Reiki
Some people often wonder if reiki works and if it does how can it be sent

the following will answer some questions you may have.
First an understanding that an unseen energy which some refer to as
"Universal Life Force Energy" (chi) flows between all living things connecting
us to one another. This life force energy can be measured and felt (sensed).
It can also be sent regardless of time or space in addition to whether the
receiver is present or not.
Many reiki practitioners utilize a variety of methods to send reiki distantly.
Some may hold a stone, crystal, picture, reiki grid, stuffed animal, doll or
thumb in one hand while sending Reiki to the recipient with the other. In
other cases a "warm body" may be used on the senders end (I will often
utilize my husband or children for this). Whatever is utilized to send reiki
from one person to the other many will call this a "proxy."
The proxy takes the place (represents) of the person giving the sender
something to "work on" during the session. The practitioner might visualize
the person as being there just as in person sessions. I utilizes a variety of
proxy's myself. I can and will intuitive connect with the individual I am
sending energy to: often I will receive messages (or intuitive input) I may be
given about the person or issue that may arise during the session. I provide
distance session recipients with an email of these messages.
